Golden Rules

The Golden Rules reflect the agreements we have made with each other about our attitudes and behaviour in relation to our work, our colleagues, our own safety, and our environment.

Golden Rules say something about how we interact, how we care, how we pay attention to what we do, and how we try to learn from mistakes. Golden Rules usually start with I…. Because these are agreements which we commit to. They are a kind of promise.

I look after my colleagues.

I stop work that is unsafe.

I learn from all (or almost all) incidents and mistakes.
